Reflections of Burano (Julie)

Beautiful weather again and a perfect day to tackle our watercolour class on the reflections of the colourful houses of Burano in the water of the canals. Not very good but a start on a difficult subject. Later I saw a collection of historic examples of the fine lace work that Burano is famous for and decided that if it took four or five weeks and often more than seven women to make a piece of lace just inches square then complexity is only a matter of perspective. :)
